When people are young and asked what they want to be when they grow up, the answers are almost always ambitious. Kids want to be things like astronauts, superheroes, firefighters or movie stars. At that age, kids believe they can make a huge impact because their hearts are full of hope and the possibilities are endless. For most of us, those dreams fade away as reality sets in, and we realize that we are not all cut out for space travel or running into burning buildings. Our desire to positively impact the world never leaves us though. We do that by giving hope to those who have lost it, and by building up our communities so that there’s softer place to fall.

By making a donation to Louisiana Cancer Prevention (LCP), you can help your neighbors get lifesaving cancer screenings; offer support for survivors struggling with life after cancer; improve the way clinics screen patients for cancer; strengthen healthcare communities across the state; and support groundbreaking studies that can save the lives of so many here in Louisiana.

This holiday season, you can make a difference. To donate to LCP, click here.

Have a happy and healthy holiday season.
